Pre-registration is a public claim of priority. File your analysis plan or finished
manuscript here and you receive a time-stamped, cryptographically-signed registry
entry, a permanent verifiable URL, and an engine rating from 0 to 10
across five axes. Filing is free for academic submissions.

Pre-registration check is a v1 service.
Submissions are time-stamped and rated, typically within minutes. Provider
variability or unusual load can extend turnaround; submitters with extended
turnaround are notified individually.
Engine review = OSF rule check.
Every submission is evaluated against the eight OSF pre-registration rules.
The engine returns rule-by-rule feedback, what passes, what needs revision,
and how to fix it. Pass all rules + rating ≥ 9.0 + replication = Confirmed.
Below threshold = Exploratory (still time-stamped, still verifiable).
OSF rules the engine checks
Filed before analysis The pre-registration timestamp is earlier than any data extract. Priority is established.
Hypothesis stated explicitly The research question is written in plain prose, not implied.
Cohort or sample definition Inclusion criteria, exclusion criteria, and sample size are specified up front.
Outcome variables defined in advance What you are measuring, how, and why.
Pre-specified analysis plan Statistical methods, primary versus secondary analyses, and any planned subgroup work.
Falsification criteria What result would refute the hypothesis. Required.
Time-stamped and immutable The hash anchors a record that cannot be quietly edited later.
Deviations flagged The author commits to flagging any divergence from this plan in the final report.
What you get
Time-stamped registry URL Permanent verifiable link of the form rocsitediscovery.com/preregistration/<id>/.
Cryptographic evidence hash SHA-256 over the methodology text plus any uploaded manuscript. Returned on submission and stored on the entry.
Rule-by-rule feedback The engine reports which OSF rules pass, which need revision, and the specific reason for each.
Engine rating 0–10 Composite of literature consistency, internal consistency, cross-dataset replication, temporal stability, and subgroup fairness. See the methodology page .
Cross-references If you provide an OSF or medRxiv URL, both are listed on your entry as independent verification anchors.
Wayback Machine snapshot The published entry is auto-submitted to Internet Archive so the timestamp lives outside RocSite as well.
Pricing: Free for academic submissions. Commercial submissions where
a published rating is requested as part of an FDA, journal, or investor due-diligence
package use the
Evidence Integrity Score tier
($2,495–$24,995).
